About Us

Steve Wood, CDBA

Steven Wood, CDBA is the Director of Training for the Phoenix Valley, Arizona region of Canine Dimensions Home Dog Training Company.

Steve and his bulldog, Tigger, live in Peoria, Arizona and service the entire Phoenix Valley. He has successfully trained hundreds of dogs over the years and is recognized for his abilities by The International Association of Canine Professionals and The Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
Steve is a certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen program and he is Red Cross certified in Canine CPR and First Aid.
Always having had a love for dogs, Steve began training them at an early age. Working with dogs that belonged to family members and friends, and volunteering at local shelters, Steve soon realized that he had a gift for communicating with the animals, as well as for his ability to communicate with and teach the owners how to help their dogs respond to them.

He quickly turned this hobby into a profession, becoming a nationally recognized Certified Dog Behavior Advisor and traveling the entire state of Arizona to help people resolve the problems that they are facing with their furry friends.
We consistently receive incredible feedback about Steve (read some of his testimonials posted on this site). In fact, he has one of the highest client satisfaction ratings of any of our trainers.  Some comments often heard from Steve’s clients are that his sense of humor makes the sessions very fun and enjoyable and that his abilities to counsel and teach people are second only to his abilities working with the dogs themselves.
